El término “Artivismo” se ha usado en más de una ocasión para nombrar diferentes hechos, ideas y prácticas, sin embargo hemos decidido también usarlo para describir nuestro quehacer en el planeta, pues tod@s los que nos consideramos artivistas tenemos varios puntos en común.
Como es evidente, artivista es la combinación de las palabras artista y activista, y habemos much@s que aprovechamos esta mezcla para lograr nuestros objetivos de vida.
Con este blog pretendemos, no sólo compartir nuestras experiencias como artivistas, sino dar ojos y oídos a las de otr@s artivistas del mundo para que podamos conocernos, intercambiar ideas, enterarnos de lo que se hace en otros lugares, en fin, crecer junt@s.
También podemos, entre tod@s, hacer de este blog un espacio en donde la gente comunique qué tanto ha tocado su vida el trabajo de l@s artivistas y nos proponga acciones.
Aventurémonos, pues. Juntémonos.

The term «Artivism» has been used in more than one occasion to address diverse facts, ideas and practices. However we have also decided to use it to describe our work on the planet, because all of us who define ourselves as artivists have many ideas in common.
Evidently, artivist is the combination of the words artist and activist, and a lot of us use this mixture to achieve our goals of life.
In this blog we intend not only to share our experiences as artivists, but to give eyes and ears to other artivists around the world so we can meet, exchange ideas and learn what is done in other parts of the world, in order to grow together.
With your help, we would also like to make this blog a space where people express how their lifes have been touched by the artivism and even propose some actions.
